This morning I tried to change to a new theme on Firefox and then when I went to restart the browser to apply the new theme I got the following message:

Error Launching Browser Window: No XBL Binder for Browsing

What does this mean and how do I fix the problem?

I love Firefox but now it won't run. I did an uninstall and downloaded and installed again and still got the message above.

Help!

Did you install a new version of Firefox over an old one? (EG version 0.9 over version 0.8 without uninstalling 0.8 first). Firefox/Mozilla stores your settings in a different folder by default than the actual browser program, so that your favorites, themes, etc are always preserved. Installing over the top of a previous version caused the problem you described in the past, but was supposed to be fixed with the official 1.0 release.

If you are going to do a clean install, backup your favorites/bookmarks, uninstall via the add/remove programs area via windows, and also delete the file called "Mozilla" in C:\Documents and Settings\MMcg\Application Data where MMcG is whatever your local name is on your pc. Now try a new install with version 1.0

This might help, also
