so i am looking to upgrade my bike. i have a 07 kona stinky primo but i wanna get a new bike. somethin with alittle better performance. so help me choose. or give a opinion on a different bike if you have an recomendation

Theres nothing wrong with the Kona aside of weight.... They rip and are pretty beefy set ups..
That said you live in the mecca of all bikes period.... Go to Jensonusa (corona or ontario) and test ride some stuff then incycle (4-5 locations there), the path (Tustin), bikebling.com (escondido) and bicyclewarehouse (temecula) and just ride stuff... That will allow you to ride just about everything under the sun and get a handle on what your looking for....
I ride a canfield and never happier but theres a ton of bikes Id ride as well that kick @$$... The new pivot is pretty sick coming out etc....
