Hi, I was wondering if anyone's ever replaced the bearings on a FSA Orbit Z 1.5R headset?

The current bearings look like this

and I was wondering if I'd be able to change them to cartridge bearings, like these

If you have done this, may I know what bearings you ended up using?

I'm not positive but I would guess that the headset cups will have a different shape between the bearings in a retainer and the cartridge bearing (I don't think it can be done)

Not a chance. Buy a new headset. It won't be much more than the sealed bearings alone.

Hey, thanks for the replies. Guess I'll just stick with the existing ones. I was looking at how I could possibly improve the headset... And I was just too lazy to degrease and re-grease.
