Sorry, I'm Canadian ..sorry...
I've had at least 5 E-mails in the last week from people looking for help in retreiving millions of dollars from trust funds in europe. They are always a relative to a retired millitary general with differant last names, from differant countries. Are people really stupid enough to even consider this legit? It just sreams scam in my opinion.

Any other :monkey: 's getting these?

Yeah, I get 'em in droves... I don't even open them... if the sender looks even slightly suspicious -> DELETE.

I got similar offers when I posted a guitar for sale. "I'll buy the guitar, but some other guy will send you a check for twice as much, please mail me a check for the difference... " Yeah... right...

My g/f has gotten the same offers trying to sell her car...

This type of scam has been going on for years. Unfortunately it seems that there are enough stupid greedy people in this world looking for a quick buck that its still going on.
