As far as im aware xt's or hopes will not fit on 03-05 monsters.

I am 90% sure that the mounting for the 03-05 monsters is an 8 inch hayes mount meaning the brake bolts straight to the fork. I don't think anybody makes an adaptor to fit an IS brakes to a 03 monster.

If you get yourself a pre 03 monster (02 and earlier) the mount is IS an will work, i have xt's on a 02 monster on my bike and the setup works well.

Your only option is to get a new fork, or get a new brake. Your cheapest option is going to be buying a single saint or new xt type caliper with the hayes style mounting for the front. You can reuse your brake lever, rotor and brake lines. Should be about $100.
