Greetings.

I'm looking for a good (or at least a decent) tool, or set of tools, that I can use for all my bearing pressing/pulling needs. I have a Bottlerocket that has different sized frame bearings, an older Canfield F1, and a few sets of wheels that have Hadley hubs. I've ghetto pressed/removed in the past, but now I'm looking for something a little less sketchy. I know Transition makes a frame bearing tool, but I'm hoping to find something that will work in all applications.

I've seen the Enduro tools, and they aint cheap. Anyone know of alternatives? Harbor Freight or McMaster-Carr perhaps? I'm just not real sure what I should be looking for.

I'm also looking for a good resource to buy the bearings themselves.

Thanks for any help or advice you can provide.

vxb for all your bearing needs.

as far as tools, i think most frame manufacturers will have one designed to work specifically with their frames. the best tool to get is called a blind puller.

this.
getting tools for your specific frame will prevent you from pulling your hair out. ive always made my own tools to press them in but they can be a bit tricky.
a blind puller wont really work if you have angular contact bearings.
