I have a bunch of pictures that I took while up at Whistler and most of them turned out great, but a few had some flaws. Some of the photos I took at the air dome with the 50mm 1.8 had wierd specks of light on them. example...http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=3566455
Any ideas what happened here?

I noticed you had the flash go off there. If you're talking about the spot on the helmet, is there any chance that is a reflective sticker?

I guess there could have been. It only happened on this kids pics and on his helmet so... Kinda sucks though cause I was suposed to send him the pics. Oh well.

Well, two things. First off, a darkening brush in Photoshop would reduce the glare a whole lot, and secondly, the guy knows if he's wearing reflective tape... I don't think it looks like a problem in the picture, it looks to me like he's got reflectors on that are catching the light - exactly what it is. I'd send him the pictures anyway, if that's all that is wrong with them, they're fine. It's not like he's going to take one look and decide you're an awful photographer

But as I said, if you're concerned, it'd be pretty easy to touch up.
