I need a new bike and ive been looking at ibex (ibexbikes.com) I think im going to go with the ignition 2 please tell me if you think it is a good deal.

Is that internet only or retail shop? If you are a beginner, I would NOT under ANY circumstances buy a bike that you cannot take to the shop that you bought it from. I have never heard of Ibex. Go with a big-brand bike when you are starting out. Big companies are usually faster/easier to deal with. Shops tend to offer minor maintenance with the purchase of a bike. Bike do have a brakein period. If you are not a fairly competant mechanic, you will not be happy.

i would definatly go into a bike shop and get your bike, the people at the local shops will help get you one for your riding style. and you can always bring it back to them if something goes wrong.
