Alright, since my last post a few things have changed in what I want in a new bike.

I am looking for a bike that:
-is 30lbs or lighter
-has 6-7 inches of travel
-can pedal uphill pretty well
-can descend rough stuff like a champ
-cant be super flexy for someone at 210lbs (after riding a 2011 S-Works Carbon Enduro, pretty flexy. not sure if it was just that specific bike or not)

Things that I am open to:
-Aluminum or carbon frame
-Not set on 26 inch wheels, but I would need convincing of other sizing (27.5 or 29)

Some ideas: Ibis Mojo HD (160mm), Yeti SB 66, Specialized Enduro of some kind, etc.

I love my nomadc.
No discernible flex under my 6'4 230# ass, pedals great on xc/trail rides and can handle shuttles when I don't want to use the v10c.
XL non-weenie build, reverb and 2.3 minions is 30#.

Specialized switched to a 142x12 rear end for pretty much all of their bikes in 2012. I have 2012 Stumpjumper EVO that I have never noticed any flex in.

Second generation Banshee Rune. Very very tempted to buy one myself, currently riding a V1 Spitfire which is awesome. The new Rune appears to be substantially awesomer.

My sb blows my mind regularly. Light, pedals great, descends like a dh bike. I'm bumping the front up to 6" and a shorter stem for dh, swap back to lower fork and longer stem for trail riding. I have the Al frame and I am at around 32#, with a wookie strong build.

Not sure how useful my comments are since I'm coming off of a 10 year rigid SS 29er addiction, but, like stoney, I'm blown away by my SB66. I can't believe how well it climbs.
