Griese has a career QB rating in the mid 80's and a winning record. Grossman has an arm that Batch could only dream of. And IMO, Big Ben is overrated too, but whatever.

I didn't watch the game but isn't pretty much standard procedure to call a TO before a game ending field goal to try to shake the kicker? I've only seen it done a hundred times by about every team in the same position.
No no, this wasnt the standard "icing the kicker" it was something else altogether. He didnt call TO until the play was in action and somehow got away with it. Even the announcers were all "WTF?" replaying when the ball was snapped and the sound, synching it up. It was BS.
On the play, the kicker made a 56yd FG, but the refs overturned it, made him kick again and he missed.
...Then pit gets the ball back, march down the field, and false start when trying to spike the ball for a FG. So, that means there's a 10 second clock runoff, end of regulation, and then cowher goes apesh!t in the press conf. calling out the refs saying it wasnt a false start "when replay plainly shows it was" ... whatever. Good for them losing. I hate the steelers.
The TO part just sounds like bad ref'ing. I'm sure everybody would call time out in the middle of a play if they could get away with it. But blaming **** on refs after the game is teh gay no matter what. Want to win? Put enough points up on the board so one play makes no difference. Didn't see the game, but did listen to parts of it on Sirius. For those dogging Ben it sounded as those he was lighting up the Falcons but the defense let them down and he played well against the lowly KC defense as well. Except for the concussion, it seems he is playing well now at least.

the turnovers will kill any team, even when the stats say they DOMINATED Atlanta. 3 turnovers that led to 21 points will be then end... I am surprised it was as close as it was giving up those 21 points off of turnovers!
