Bayonet Brits kill 35 rebels
The Sun | 5-16-04

OUTNUMBERED British soldiers killed 35 Iraqi attackers in the Army’s first bayonet charge since the Falklands War 22 years ago. The fearless Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders stormed rebel positions after being ambushed and pinned down.

Despite being outnumbered five to one, they suffered only three minor wounds in the hand-to-hand fighting near the city of Amara.

The battle erupted after Land Rovers carrying 20 Argylls came under attack on a highway.

After radioing for back-up, they fixed bayonets and charged at 100 rebels using tactics learned in drills.

When the fighting ended bodies lay all over the highway — and more were floating in a nearby river. Nine rebels were captured.

An Army spokesman said: “This was an intense engagement.”

The last bayonet charge was by the Scots Guards and the Paras against Argentinian positions.

This just goes to show you that it takes more than an idiot with a gun to make a soldier. Irregular troops and terrorists do not stand a chance against professional infantrymen...that's why they resort to killing women, children and unarmed utilities contractors. A bayonet charge...way to swing those Union Sacs, Limeys! :thumb:

Does your rule apply to leather garters and bustiers or just skirts? ;)
Well having once been an active participant in the Berkeley, CA showings of the the Rocky Horror Picture show and on more than one occasion played the part of Dr. Frank N. Furter I can say the following. When wearing stockings, garters, and a bustier I am not a man to be trifled with.

Besides, imagine the shame of explaining to your friends how you got your azz soundly kicked by a man in wearing lingere.:D

It's a kilt thank you very much! and its not plaid, its tartan (I was brutally informed about this by some hard core scottish chick, I couldn't stop laughing). I need to learn how to play the bagpipes, they're sooo cool! "there can only be one highlander!"
