Yep, and even though I was promised 400 times it would have a 5th element coil, I pull it out of the box and what's on it for a shock?
5TH ELEMENT AIR SHOCK :mumble:
Imagine that?
Was promised a shirt for my aggravation "ready in March, ready in April, ready in May" and got no shirt with the bike.
However, IH has redeemed themselves and told me that progressive was making the shocks as we speak and I could keep the air shock when the coil arrives. So if anyone is looking for an 5th air for $250 buck (don't know what they are selling for in reality) mine is for sale. I'm not riding the bike till the coil arrives caus I don't trust air shocks, so it will be sold as new (unused)
I can't believe all the haggling to get this frame, but it's nice for sure and worth the wait. Now the dud at IH told me that the workers put on the wrong shock as all the other Hollowpoints have air shocks. Well if they put on the wrong shocks, why is progressive having to make them? Oh well, they took care of me and I'll stand behind them regardless of the miscommunication. Every bike company is the same. Months and months to get a frame. Just sent in 1/2 the money for my Brooklyn FQ too
Will post pics when I actually have 8 solid hours to myself to build this thing.

Glad you got the frame. If I were you I'd keep the air shock as a backup for the coil. Try em both out - see which one you prefer and have comfort in knowing you always have a backup shock for your rig.
