man im pissed im gettin frustrated with postin pics on here cause it takes all damn day resizing them and then finding out they are still to big and blah blah comprimizes the resolution big time and blah blah. howdo you post your pics without doing all this lame shlt? remember im computer illiterate so talk slow.

If you've got windows XP it's really easy. Just open the folder where you have the pictures, you should see a preview of your pictures in that folder, at the bottom of the window there is a button that will say edit if you hover the pointer over it. Click that. It will open your picuture in another window, one of the menus should say resize, click it and resize your picture to whatever size RM allows, then click file, save as and save it with a different name (I use Picture.jpg for originals and Picture_01.jpg for edited so I keep them straight, you can do whatever you want), be sure to save it as a JPEG, you may have to go into some options menu and drag a compression slider towards the less compressed end to preserve the image clarity. As long as your original picture is pretty high quality you should be okay reducing it this way and you'll easily cut the file size down to around 40 K. After I do the file save as deal I like to close the window and open the saved picture to make sure the compression didn't make the picture too blury or too small. Sometimes the zoom gets whacked when you resize pictures and you're not too sure what you're really going to get.
