I'm sure the conversation has been scintillating, but I've been busy. I've been spending my lunch hours and after work hours down at the Catholic Charities office (though I'm not Catholic) accepting donations, packing boxes, loading trucks, and ferrying stuff to the airport cargo terminal.

Amazing outpouring of help from the people of San Jose.

BTW, got an email from a friend who is still in the CG stationed in Corpus Christi, TX (though he has been in Louisiana for the last two weeks as you might imagine). He has been shot at three times that he knows of.

No comment from me on that one.
