Not sure if any of you heard, but HFS is back on the air just on a different station. They are now HFS Live on 105.7 at night. I believe it comes on around 7 p.m. and ends around 7 a.m. I was just listening to it and it sounds 20 better then it did before. They are play alot of good songs that havent been around in a while and they throw some new stuff in there. I believe Tim Virgin is the DJ still too. Sweet...

Most bands start out with the 1,2,14. and did i meantion that the junkies suck ass? Yesterday I heard them play 3 green day sogs within 1 1/2 hours so nothing has changed

Since about 1990, WHFS developed a musical repertoire of 'mainstream alternative' and their DJs had all the endearing personality of gonorrhea, including this evening joker on 105.7 (excepting perhaps Weasel). They didn't offer much more in terms of radio, but the HFStivals kept it real.
As for 99.1 going spanish, "well money talks and BS walks." I am old and tired and cynical.

Haha, we play DC101 at work now that HFS is gone, and it seems those are most of the songs they play. I mean sure at one time they were a good song, but to insure that a song plays good, you musent flood the ears of the human body with such crap over and over again. haha
