attention all who own a Hayes HFX-9 with resin pads. unless you changed them at the time you bought the brake to the old(standard sintered)pad. i have been noticing that after a short period; as short as a couple of months the pad is wearing out the rotors along with the pad. if you have this brake inspect the rotors immidiately, and contact Hayes. i have seen some scary thin rotors come thru and in talking with Hayes they feel that this may be just an issolated problem. which it may be, but non the less please check them out post what you notice. i have been speaking with Hayes but right now they don't have a clue as to why this is happening
