The world need an Uber like shuttle service.
I know a couple guys that do a week-long trip to Salida every year, and they post in Craig's List for a shuttle driver for multiple days. I don't know what they pay this person for each day, maybe $100 or something split up by X number of riders? They just use one of their own trucks, pay for fuel and gas and everyone chips in to pay the found driver. They'll tick off 3-4 shuttles on Monarch Crest and surrounding rides each day. So far, they haven't had any issues with anyone messing up or stealing their truck.

*In no way would I recommend this ride unless I didn't like the person.

Both my wife and the friend who hiked it with me today found your picture review hilarious @Pesqueeb he was also drinking Titan IPA this evening. I showed them the review tonight :D

Is this e-legal? Because if so I’ll do it if there is a repeat. If not then hell to the no.

It's not a ride, it is a hike with your bike with very limited riding opportunities.

I think I generously gave it 2/5 on mtbproject and as I mentioned earlier in todays gmt, the most redeeming feature of the "ride" is you can continue to bitch about it, 8 years later as witnessed here.

After a couple of scenes like these I wasn't so sure you'd be thanking any of us for that ride!

We saw this pretty often...

1,000 Mile Stare...

Just wait until the next one... when we do a ride with a BIG climb in it.

:D
Can someone rehost this.

I need it for my spank bank.

Life was so much simpler when you just had to worry about not dying from exposure or lightning on bike rides.
