I had the chance to head up early to Highland Mountain Bike park this year and get a sneak peak at some of the new features added for 2009. Highland has stepped up the base area with a pimped out 8-station bike wash, major $$ drainage system, and some rad improvements at the base lodge. The new jump trail "Hellion" is currently open (and effing ROCKS) and is expanding throughout the year, as well as a Dual Slalom course in progress.
Shaums March and MMR are also teaming up with HMBP for various training camps throughout the year.
