Anyone have their fork especially a Rock Shox SID fork worked on by these guys? http://www.hippiesuspension.com

I blew out the lock out on my SID world cup fork this last September and no one here in Houston, Texas seems to want to work on forks anymore so my choices are QBP “quality bike products” they are an authorized rock shox service company or hippie-tech suspension.

I do 99.9% of my own maintenance and could probably muddle through doing the fork myself however I would rather have some professional work on it.

PM Acadian, I believe he had some work done by them.

Word is that they're reliable and competent. Never heard anything but praise for them.

Bike Works here in Washington has used Hippie-Tech for several years. Vanderpool does excellent work, has a great turn around and reasonable prices. Race tunes from Hippie-Tech are awesome. :thumb:

the first part of january will work if i can get it in and out in less than 2 weeks or i'll have to "borrow" the fork of the girlfriends HT race bike.

Like all small companies (most in the bike industry are small) turn around is dependent on the amount of current work on the books. While I can speak from experience and knowledge of Hippie_Tech it would be inappropriate for me to give times I do not controle. My suggestion is to contact them directly for that info (see below) and tell them Evilbob from Bike Works sent you. :D I think you will be very pleased with what you are told.
