Hit-N-Run direct mount stem

Just found this while going through the classifieds on PB...

It's a similar to the 77 designs dm stem, but doesn't use the mounting bolts to clamp the bars. It's also similar to Thompson's dm stem, but with a clamp design instead. At $75 shipped, it's a pretty good deal IMO.
Just wondering, has anyone tried it yet? I'm considering getting one, but can't find much info on the guy that makes it...

I know the guy personally. He's a stand up dude who has been rocking one on his DH rig for a few years now and does solid work. Only reason I don't have one on my bike right now is that I haven't made it up to see him he started production.

Not here in derpville. Though that gives me idea to order my steerer in the us since I'm worried my bar height may go a bit too low if I go angleset.
