...it's landing it that's tricky sometimes.


after a few days of sessioning small jumps made w/ particle boards and bricks, the kids wanted to try the plastic, curved ramp of death again (miles had a close call last year or so, landing pretty nose heavy...otis had never tried it).

otis looks like a natural


miles was hitting stuff great before, but i think he freaked out when he got in the air (he hit going pretty fast) and lost pedal contact...deceleration via crotch is never a good idea...

How old are these kids? My neighbor's kids are 7 and 4. The older one is kind of a wuss and is scared to even leave the ground. I have been trying to work on getting him to actually jump something. The kid is infatuated with my trials bike though.

They are both light years ahead of my neighbor's kid. They have one of those plastic skateboard ramps with the two kickers on either side with a small box in the middle. He barely want to ride over that.
