ive heard nothing but good things about the mallets but im 15 and realy cant afford to be riding at all and dont have the money 2 new sets of peadels

dunno if they're still available there, but beyondbikes.com (i think) was blowing out the blue colored Mallets for like 50 bucks.

i really dig my mallets. got 'em on pro deal before they were in the stores, been riding them hard ever since. i'm a tall guy / big feet, which means lots of leverage on the cleat...which means they release super-easy. i don't even think about it. literally every time i get off the bike on a dh run they come off my feet in the first .000001 seconds.

where i ride there's more boulders etc. but if i rode skinnies and other slo speed stuff i'd prefer to have flats on.

rocky?? north star is about as rocky asit gets from what i have seen(maybee thats where you ride)and all my money goes to trips up there. my perents decided i pay for all my biking stuff a couple of months ago
