Did they even play pre season games?

I didn't even know it started this soon..........

Here is to another disappointing Flyers season.

Uhhmmm, yeah. Preseason is over, Blackhawks went 6 (7?) - 1. Is it too early to talk about the Cup coming to Chicago? Probably. But hope springs eternal in the minds of hardcore Hawk fans. Hope that "Dollar Bill" will slide under a gas truck and taste his own blood before being burnt to death. A death that will be hastened by all the alcohol in his veins, which by now has surely permeated his cellular structure, altering his DNA to closely resemble that of a dry vodka martini. Yes, the Hawks have Martin Havlat, Nikolai Khabibulin, and Adrian Aucoin and there is much reason for optimism in camp, but surely, until GWB declares Bill Wirtz as the new axis of evil and topples his regime with another lightning war and then leads the Blackhawk hopeful to freedom, democracy and a logical, sane free agent market, there will be no Cup in Chicago. Unless it comes on tour...

Very little preseason televised games for some reason this year.

Those NHLers are slacking - my kids have been playing for well over a month now.

Toronto down 1-0 to the Sens already. Going to be a long season...<sigh>
