Looking to join a team or make one up as we go.

My first name is NOT Tinker - nor am I in the below 40 age group.

I did Snowshoe 2000 and 2001 Allamuchy - no hook-up for 2002.
Hopefully 2003 turns out better. . . :help:

On my list of 'NEW things to do in 2003' is a 24 hour race, and Dalton Mass would be a good choice being it's just over 1 hour away from me, so more than likely I'll be looking for a team to join (and My name is NOT Tinker either)

Yes, pershaps we do....I also would want to do the 4 or 5 person team.

AND my friend that also races said he is interested in this race.

AND#2 I might know another potential interested person (I meet him at a couple XC races that we did last summer, and he did the 24 hours adirondack race, I just need to figure out how to contact him, shouldn't be too hard being I know he's full name & what city he's from (which is local to me).

Just an attempt to revive this thread. . .

There must be SOMEONE/TEAMS going to do this
event that are part of RM. . .

ANY thread-activity would be welcome at this point.
It'd be cool just to know of someone(s) that ARE
going to do this one. . .

Douglas - you still interested at least?
If not - please let me know.
Do you have a team on your end already set?
Let me know something - OK?

The end of June is ONLY 3 MONTHS away. . .
2003 1/4 way gone ALREADY. . .

Tempus Fugit. . .

im def. interested. i did the race last year with a team of three other guys. so much suffering, but so much fun. i dont want to race with them again though. they really werent motivated, and i ended up doing two more laps than everyone else because they didn't want to get up and ride at 3 in the morning. would love to do it again. my name's not tinker, but it is jason. im 19, and last year i did seven laps at 1:03, :59, :59, 1:00, :59n, :57n, 1:01. n means it was a night lap. im in much better shape this year, i really didnt train last year, and only found at about the race the day before. awesome course, really technical which i did not expect. really cool atmosphere, although one of my chargers did get stolen or was mistakenly tacken by someone else. anway, let me know if anyone needs a rider, i would love to do the race again, and def. meet some other riders. i dont care about age, or sex. the guys i rode with last year were customers of the shop i work at (they were in their 30's of varying ability). obviously not looking to win, but def. have fun. by the way, i live in westchester, ny and go to college in baltimore, md.

Flycykel (me) - like it was hard to figure that out -

Still have a few things in the works - but nothing solid it seems. . .

(I'd like to know if it's "Yea" or "Nay" BEFORE race weekend. . .)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On a positive note, I am taking a Team to Aug 24 Hrs of Allamuchy - Corporate. My team mates just aren't available
for TWO of these 24 Hr enduros. . .

Count me out.....I'll be racing the weekend before this race at Mount Snow(Norba) and I dont have the extra $ to do both.....I still plan to do some of the Wednesday 'training' races at Holiday farms and if I hear people looking for a team I'll let ya know about them

I love the folks hwo put on the training races, good people.
I'll probally start riding my roadbike to the races out there this year to warmup. It's a pretty fun 30 or so miles from my house. See you some wed. (I'll be the guy in the skinsuit on the cyclocross bike...)

I'm shocked you're choosing NCS over 24hours. You said you were a beginner in a previous thread. That means you are paying 45 bucks for a race that's not even an hour long. Maybe I just hate NORBA too much, but I think it's an insult to charge so much for so little. (plus the 24 hour race is good, laid -back, fun; whereas too many people in NORBA races are out for blood and hardly even social)

It was a hard choice!
AND I will be racing the (sport) DH at Snow so I'll actually be racing for under 5 min's!

It will cost me less for Reg & 3 nights of hotel at Snow than Reg & bike lights for the Trilife 24 (plus I wasn't set w/a team so I might have not been able to race anyway)
