I still got the bike and I'm not selling it. I love it. I know I went through many incarnations of earlier rigs, but I've settled in on what I really like and this is it. Here's a pic of it in its current form. I haven't ridden much. Did Leominster SF in July, Went to Franklin SF in August and Uxbridge as well. That's all the riding I've done this year. One of the problems is that I get sick of riding by myself so I just don't go anymore.
I don't like going with other people too much as I am slow and ususally riding a bike that is 10-15lbs heavier than everyone elses. Yeah yeah, excuses are like a******s, everybody's got one.
So I have to get off my asss and start riding again basically. Goin this weekend perhaps to Nam or Great Brook Farm.

No, but I'm on my 3rd incarnation of my garage floor and 3rd driveway (which I had to pay for)
The town sued the builder (Pat "Thomas" Harrington - owner Vantage Point Homes- Worcester, MA) to give myself and my neighbor a new floor. The third one.
So they ripped out the floor, ruined my new $1500 driveway and ruined 2 garage door panels and the trim around the garage doors.
The court ordered a complete engineering report, compaction test and whatnot before the new pour. So after that I got a break from a driveway company to rip out the driveway and put a new one in for $800. I had got 3 estimates for around $2000.
They did an awesome job on the driveway, the water pitches off to the side and it's overwith. All I need is 2 garage door panels and some trim around the doors and the house goes up for sale.
I asked the builder if he was going to fix my driveway and repair the damage. He said "I'm all done with you"
This guy lives at the end of my street mind you. He is lucky that the synapse does not occur in my brain that would cause me to go down the street and .....................
Well I'm not going there. Hate only affects the person that initiates it anyhow. But if everyone could please take 2 minutes to sit down and throw Mr. Pat Harrington some negative energy today, it would be appreciated.
I don't know how people like this guy can operate/survive/live? Worcester is a big town, and every other person I talk to hates him or he owes them money, or they've taken him to court. I don't understand how he sleeps.

If your garage floor and driveway are cracking I don't understand how your foundation isn't cracking as well.
Actually it is possible.... but it seems like if they didn't compact the sub-base under the garage slab and driveway why would they compact it under the footings. The other possiblity is the soil in general just doesn't have the bearing capacity and then it would effect your foundation.
dud, the foundation and the floor are two separate objects. The problem is that the foundation was poured in October when it was still relatively warm, and the floor work was done in February 02. The dirt was turned over and what not, improperly compacted (if it ever was compacted) and the floor poured. When the spring thaw came, the floor sank. That was the 1st floor. The 2nd floor they poured over the first floor to level it out. So a total of 5" of concrete in the back and a 1/2" of concrete by the garage doors.
That 1/2" lip lasted about a week before it cracked to pieces and the cracking spread to the back. The surface was never scored or chemically treated. So I don't know how the crackheads @ O'neal Concrete Floors (Worcester, MA) ever thought it would stay.
This was the 2nd floor.
Then, 6 months ago, the floor was ripped out, dirt was ripped out. They dug down 10' and compacted 2' layers of dirt or whatever they use. They put in re-rod (sp?) and poured a new floor.
After the repairs are done on the trim, the house goes up for sale. The good thing is that I paid 230k for it and it's now worth close to 400k
However now in MA, 400k will get you a 2 bedroom ranch if your lucky.
Not that that is a bad thing. I'm sick of having a big house. Who the **** needs it? YOu have a big house, you just fill it with more sh*t. I look around. I got 4 tv's 2 flat panels, 1 widescreen, none of which are under 27". I got 2 surround sound systems, a 1000W one upstairs. I look around and I want to puke. I want to rent a dumpster and throw it all out.
It's useless sh*t and I feel like a real asshat for spending so much money and falling into the greed system that keeps us enslaved at these jobs.
Advice I have for younger folk that are starting to make good money? SAVE IT. Caus there will come a time when you realize that you are a slave to the system, living on credit to make your purchases and STUCK. Don't operate like this. Get a reasonable house, pay it off. Become at peace with simple things and pay that house off. Then anything you want, pay for in cash. By paying your house off early, you can pretty much work part time and not have to be enf*****gslaved by the system or corporate greed.
This is where I'm at. When you are not the one who is deciding when you get up in the morning, yes, you are a slave.
