we have six adult ducks that wander around humpin' one another and laying eggs all over the lawn. i started putting them in the incubator about four weeks ago.

it's pretty cool and weird when the eggs start wiggling and saying, "Meep! Meep!"

two more in the hatching box right now. hopefully they won't die like the first two.

aight. here's more o that cute little guy

that's about 6 hrs old. he's more or less dry and imagine if you will that he just finished figuring out how to stumble around after being folded up like a piece of orgami in an egg similar to the ones he is sitting on in the picture.

he's currently peeping his damn fool head off. two siblings are trying to do their escape trick in the box next to him. then it'll be three l'il monsters peeping to beat the band.

and you don't know what a sucker punch is until you hold a newborn duckling in your hand and he looks at you, tilts his head and says, "Meep?"
