man....this has been the busiest day in a while for me. i didn't even make it to assembly before having to assist on an armed subject call. some punkass thugs were fighting and one of them pulled out ,what appeared to the caller to be, an M-16. THe caller said that all 4 of the thugs were armed. so we catch the car coming out of the neighborhood, all the occupants jump and run. we catch two immediately and the dog snags the driver and another passenger.

turns out the dumbass was threatening to shoot up the drug house and pulled out his AIRSOFT m-16 replica. good way to get dead around here.

then we had some lady getted robbed at the mall, we found him, he ran, we chased...he fell down. ;)

then i find 3 kids under the age of 7 sitting in a car at the mall w/ no parents in sight. they had left them there for over 2 hours.....had a good time w/ the parents later.:mumble:

next, on the way to take a burglary report, some dude gets hit in the head w/ an axe. less than 2 minutes after that, 2 blocks away, a dude is shot in the back. both are apparently ok.

there have been 8 non-residential burglaries since 8am today.

this is friggin insane! all of this crap within the first 90 minutes of my shift......i was lucky enough to catch a breather and type this.

i wonder what the rest of the night has in store :dead:

merry christmas!

note: considering the holiday, i plan on sitting here at my super secret wifi spot until i get a call. no traffic enforcement, warrant service or anything proactive today. just answering calls for me :thumb:

hope so.....i get to work tomorrow too.....through wednesday. yay for rotating shifts!

i actually wasn't scheduled to work tonight but since my family was out of town i decided to switch with a buddy that was working . i figured that i'd be sitting at home picking my nose so i might as well work and let a friend be w/ his family on cmas eve.
i just got a look at the '06 schedule and it looks like my team is actually off on christmas :thumb:

Stay safe man. Best wishes to you and the rest of the folks who sacrifice their holidays so we can enjoy ours.

You signed up for the job-quit bitchen!
who's bitchin? i love the fun/hot calls. just perplexed at how everyone has lost their mind on this holiday. this is the one day of the year that i make a serious effort NOT to have to arrest people...but man, they sure make it hard on me.

i just got home from working tonight (christmas). was insanely crazy today too! wierd.

stupidity and commercialism.

"where are your parents?"

"they're inside, they said that if we came in to spy on them santa wouldnt' come"
:mumble:

Hope the the "Santa" is bringing bail money for the parents! Leave y7our kids in the car for a couple of minutes, while you grab soda's at the Quickie mart is one thing. Two hours is negligence.
