I actually had them mail me a $10,000 check once. The plan was for me to keep $200 for the guitar I was selling, then wire them back the remaining $9,800. I still have that check somewhere. Looks real as isht.

At one point over a year ago, someone was generating counterfeit refund checks from State Farm. The banks could literally tell no difference and I never heard if they were caught. Then they just stopped popping up.

I assume the evil genius moved on to Geico.
