For PinkBike e-awesomeness.flatulant_man said:why the hell would you risk the wellbeing of your apparently pretty awesome bike for one stupid drop to flat?
Especially when there are sweet looking dirt lines 150 feet away (in pic).flatulant_man said:Why? any somewhat intelligent rider would know that a big drop to flat is not good.
It's a QR 20, its a 20 mm axel but you can take your wheel off without toolsSecret Squirrel said:In that first pic...he has a QR on that Zocchi!!!!! LOL!!! One good digger and he's messed fer shure!! hahahahaha
I think those of us that rode downhill prior to 1999 would disagree with that statement.Secret Squirrel said:In that first pic...he has a QR on that Zocchi!!!!! LOL!!! One good digger and he's messed fer shure!! hahahahaha
Ah...upon closer inspection I see that it is a QR 20...must have been the model year after mine, but before they canned that idea!! Good eye!!priceseliger14 said:It's a QR 20, its a 20 mm axel but you can take your wheel off without tools
Let me qualify my statement. I definitely (or a guy like him doing that drop), would completely destroy, or at least bend beyond recognition, a standard QR skewer (that is, I just realized that it was a QR 20 in the first pic)....I've had to replace plenty of QR's in my time because of my size..... so pfffttt.... :dancing:sam_little said:I think those of us that rode downhill prior to 1999 would disagree with that statement.
