I forgot to tigthen my pedals up before a ride and stripped out all but about 3 rows of thread from the drive side crank arm on my Truvativ Holzfeller OCT cranks. This actually happened about a year ago and I managed to save the trip by filling the threads with loc-tite and removing the pedal washer to get as much insertion as possible. Since then I had one of my pedals fall apart and put on another set of pedals until getting my replacements in. Now that I'm putting the replacements on, it seems that installing and removing pedals is starting to take it's toll on the few threads that are remaining to the point that I'm a little concerned that this pedal is going to fully strip out the cranks as soon as I crank down to tighten it. It is really fighting to go in straight as well.

Can I install steel pedal inserts or somehow repair these threads?
