Some pretty good stuff I'd like the red black bike rack...but shipping would be a bit..thought about bidding on a group of park tools ..I've already got almost all but I'm a tool whore
That’s why you need to bid on one of the trailers as well, then you can save on shipping! It’s genius

I am contemplating bidding only because I'm about a 2 hour drive from the auction site.

Browsing their auction, it seems they spent a mountain of money on shit they didnt need!

You can tell it’s predominantly bike people looking at the stuff as well, lots with titles like “miscellaneous hand tools” have bids of over $400, but the Knoll sit stand desks can be grabbed for less than $60

That would be the issue, VC money, massive expansion, bubble burst.
I just don’t get where the projected income was coming from, even during the Covid bike boom - how many bikes can be processed per mechanic per day?

In industry news:
Park tools will file bankruptcy with the loss of the pros closet not supporting them..

My god i made it to page 20 and had to stop looking...I want to micro bid everything just to wbe part of it..lol
They could throw all the tools into a giant pile and auction it by the pound.

Seriously though, they had a good businesa model - theres so many cheap bikes available now. They should have taken all that investment money and just banked it to make their company more robust rather than spend it like theres no consequences in life.

Those bike wash stations are bad ass!

I have this XL 2021 Vitus Sommet CRS frame that’s been sitting in my garage forever. I thought I cracked the linkage on it and sent it back to Chain Reaction to have it checked and warrantied. While I was waiting (impatiently) I bought a Tyee frame and built it up with most of the parts from the Vitus. Chain Reaction sent the linkage back and said it wasn’t cracked, it was just a welding booger. On the inside of the linkage so really hard to see. I hit a decent sized drop and could have sworn I heard a snap, but I did ride it out that day and did a few steep rollers and a drop at the end and it rode fine, no strange noises. I checked the carbon front triangle and found nothing cracked on that. Nothing on the aluminum rear either. The headset, bb and dropper are still on the frame. I have a set of SLX cranks 170 that could go along with it too. Also comes with a DVO Jade coil that was serviced a few rides before I stopped riding the frame. If someone wants to take a chance on it, make me an offer. I’m pretty sure I have a frame box somewhere. It was a really fun bike while it was together.

Figured I'd try posting this up before I brave Facebook Marketplace hell.

Garmin Fenix 5x Saphire 51mm, well used (but works great) with a few bands and two charging cables (not pictured):
