Up sh*t creek, without a paddle
Barbaro ceases to exist!

Nothing like beating a dead horse.
fvckin' finally....heard the most worthless interviews on the evening newz on saturday..."Barbaro is a real fighter, he wants to live. The family is pouring hundreds of thousands of dollars into his recovery, and he seems to appreciate it because he's still fighting."

uh-huh.....

If the world gave half as much a rat's ass about cancer kids at St. Judes as they did about that horse, the world would be a better place.

You also don't get $100,000 each time your kid knocks up the high school slut...
Actually it's more like $250k per shot (twice/day) - regardless of conception. That's why good race horses are worth more after they retire. How would you like a $500k/day (or $182,000,000.00/year) annuity?

This is not about the love of a horse - it's all about the love of money.

Real Sports on HBO did a segment on this issue that was interesting. I couldn't remember the exact numbers, just that they were really high. The one catch is that they aren't allowed to breed thoroughbred race horses artificially...so the reality of the situation is that Barbaro was put down because he couldn't support his weight on his gimpy leg...instead we get all this syrup about how the horse was a fighter and how noble the owners were. Please..:disgust1:

Couldn't they just use one of those Catherine the Great suspension harnesses™ and swing him into stud position?
