The NEW! top clamp/stem combo is the ultimate - for performance, strength, stiffness and style!

Available in 2 options - one for Boxxers (latest 35mm diameter only) and one for Fox 40s. This machined masterpiece is a beautiful example of what is possible with cutting edge CNC machining. Crafted from a solid billet of 2014 T6 aluminium, the whole unit (weighing just 272g for the Boxxer version and 300g for the Fox 40 version) has been designed to increase stiffness of the upper part of the fork, increase strength and give a super neat set up. The crown gives a 50mm reach whilst keeping the bars as low as possible.
Yes, it is light but seems to me that their marketing is more focused on "increased stiffness".

Although it is light, it also comes with a heavy price tag.

Only down side is that it makes the front end very low and removes your option for adjust-ability. Other than that there light, crazy stiff and help in pimping your bike out

its a sweet idea for sure, we've got a couple sitting in our shop. the machining is something that even a roadie can appreciate too.

I've had one for 15months, Hope stuff is cheaper in the UK. It is strong, stiff, light and simple. The only problem is it is quite low, so I run 38mm Renthal bars and my bars are similar height to a Funn stem with 12.5mm Raceface Atlas's.

Chunked and Goldtec and a few others make similar products but with a higher rise. Just incase anyone put off by how low the Hope model is

Sorry, I guess I have something against this product only because I saw it on a girls bike that races cat 2 or 1? Forget what cat but still it does nothing for that rider...

I have the function bikes integrated stem crown combo on my demo. Much better in my opinion. It lighter, cheaper... You can get the stem/crown and the matching lower clamp/ steerer for less than the hope, and in terms of stiffness I'm sure it's on par with hope if you need that kind of stiffness. The function crown is adjustable, 45, 55 too. For the made in America folk it's fully made in Portland, Oregon.
