So, I just watched a detailed video covering how to service the FOX Float CTD Evolution Fork. The guy stated that it needs to be done every 30 hours of riding, which sounds kinda crazy to me. Do you guys actually fully service your forks that often?

for fox, yes. to be fair, the service is fairly straightforward and fox provides good walk throughs on their tech/service website.
Usually 'service' means change the oil for what they are referring to...maybe seals. It's not that hard.
Once a year (2008 Fox 32 Float RLC).
