Huh? The ad isn't directed at single moms to tell them they are bad people.

It's very simple - the ad is saying that sex isn't going to make a guy care for you, and getting pregnant isn't going to make a guy stick around.

I can't even stretch to find what's disturbing in the least about that ad. You say that these values are being "pushed" on you - so, do you disagree with the two basic points listed above? Girls should use sex as a substitute for love, and getting pregnant is a good way to make a guy stay with them?

Or is it just the campaign in general that bugs you and you simply chose a very poor example to demonstrate with?

How 'bout this: We just start tagging the paycheck of all of these deadbeat dads that have a dozen kids with a dozen different women?

The real problem is that the seed is too easy to spread. There needs to be consequences to the actioins. If you can't take care of your kids, a soldering iron could solve the problem rather swiftly.

Right. They should also be able to cook and clean well. :oink:
