Thanks for the input, folks. I've been out of this for a while so I don't know as well what things are worth anymore.

As long as it is the right size and is in decent shape, I'm pretty sure I'm going to go for it. I just need to set up a time to ride it, but with the six inches of snow we got last night, the weather hasn't been cooperating very well.

Rode it tonight. He didn't have all the parts with him and wanted to replace the headset race, so he's doing that and bringing it by tomorrow. I'm excited.

The bike can handle it. The trails can't. Around here they're pretty sensitive and shouldn't be ridden on when they're muddy.
