I work up at 6:55am, and after bathroom time, eating, and playing with the nephew, I realized around 7:40 I would not make my 8am train because I still hadn't packed my bag. I would be able to get out by 8am

Really, it should only take me about 8 minutes, but I have a hard time actually getting out of bed, then I sit with bv for a few minutes. Throwing on clothes: 2 mins, brushing hair: 1 min, oral hygiene: 5 mins.

I wake up early because Jenn goes to work earlier than I do and I never go back to sleep afterwards.

I wake up at 6:00. I don't start getting ready, though, until about 7:40. Takes me about 20-25 minutes to shower, shave, brush teeth, get dressed, grab a bagel for breakfast, put on my shoes and get out the door.

When pressed, I can be ready in under 10 minutes but I usually don't like to rush.

I am usually up and ready to leave in 20 minutes. Now a days, I get up earlier and leave at the same time, but I am also nursing the baby still so it seems like it takes me an hour to leave once I am up, but I would say 40+ minutes of that is baby time!

8:15 play fetch with dog
8:45 hop on bike and ride to work

I get up around 6:30 (don't need an alarm), make coffee, shower/shave, get dressed/drink coffee/check the intarweb, and am out the door by 7:30 or so. I've tried the morning workouts but it just doesn't work for me, the most I can do is a bike commute across town.

Alarm goes off at 3:50, I'm generally out the door around 4:45. I could cut that down by 15 minutes or more, but I hate being rushed in the morning. I'd rather take my time and relax for a few minutes before heading out.

I wake up around 6:30, sit with my head in my hands for about 15 minutes wishing I wouldn't have drank so much the night before, ask strange girl to please leave, turn on local news and grumble at moronic talking heads, ice cold shower to shock my system into waking up, get dressed, stare into fridge with disappointed expression, decide I'm too hungover to ride, find keys and stumble to car around 7-7:15.

Up by 5:15 AM (also no alarm) most days - roust dogs if they aren't already up and have a few minutes of playtime, stumble downstairs, let dogs out and feed them, jump in shower, dressed and out the door by 5:45 AM for the hour or so drive to the office in Boston. Pack for the gym or riding or whatever the night before, and have breakfast and whatnot at work. On days when I am on the road for clients, get to sleep in longer depending on where and when I need to be.

about 1/2 the time I'm out the door from whithin 30 mins from when the alarm finally stops going off (many snooze button presses). the other 1/2 the time I tack on an extra 20 - 30 mins for walking the dog.

I find bike commuting takes me much longer to prepare than driving. Leave something simple, and you may regret it later.

Usually ~15 minutes to shower and shave, ~15 min to dress and get out. Have breakfast at work. If I lay out cloths the night before (but rarely do) and don't shave, I can cut the total time down to close to 20 min.

I have pretty much streamlined my morning wake up process.

It takes me 10 min to get out the door. The Sonicare 4 minute brushing cycle takes the most amount of that time.
