Same at the Downhill Zone. We were flooded with weekend-warrior roadies playing poker with their bikes. Kinda strange, but it got a lot of people into the shop, so that was cool. I hear you about how busy its been. 5 inch travel trail bikes under 30lbs has been the order of this past month. Its been nothing but straight building for weeks. We've done 2 Blurs, an Ellsworth Id, 2 (soon to be 3) Intense 5.5, Ventana X-5, Titus Racer-X and Quai-moto (we have a Switchblade in the works). Its been great to work with so many nice bikes. I'm like a kid on Christmas morning every time the brown truck pulls up.mplutodh1 said:there was some nutty poker run thing today where riders tried to hit up all the shops in the seattle area, at each shop they would receive a playing card randomly which they choose out of the deck and then whoever had the best hand at the party in the afternoon wins something, not sure what the deal was but our shop was swamped today with riders for that thing not to mention renting/buying, this weather has been CRAZY for business
I think only 4 of those are owned by riders, and 7 of the 10 are run by people in desperate need of a :nuts:Echo said:I think there are like 10 around Rochester... considering how anti-MTB this place is, that seems like a lot.
