These two topics have nothing in common, but Im wondering the answers to both:

How many miles (mountain only) do you ride per month?

How many beers do you drink, per night?

Ok, sissies, I'll go first:

Mycyclinglog says last month I rode: 66 miles (not my best, and damn sure not my worst)

I usually drink 2.5 beers: (not that I waist half a beer, but usually I either drink 2 or 3)

I have no idea about offroad miles. Makes no sense to trake them, one set of trails I can do 25 miles in less than two hourse where as another trail system that will take closer to 4. I ride an average of 6 hours of dirt per week, all on the weekends, I'm relegated to the road during the week. I guess I average 2 beers/day.

Ive got about 650 miles on the odometer for the year on dirt so far. I averaged about 100 in June, July, Aug, Sept, and Oct. Ive had months as high as 200-250 miles in the old days when I didnt have to work so much. All on dirt, all on a 41-43 lb Fly.

Since I've been unemployed for five weeks now, I've been riding a good bit. Usually two laps around my main trail and our begginer loop. It comes to about 10 miles total. I try to get there every day. I'd say in Sept. I did about 200 - 250 miles. I'm sure I missed a few days in there somewhere.
How many beers? Well there's always money for beer and never enough. In the last two weeks I've gone through 4 - 18 packs of Coors king kans and a six of busch kings.
Oh yeah - I got hired on to one of my former employes today doing welding again. I start working tomorrow!!!!
Ohhh Helllss yeah!!!! They are giving me some sick money too...
Now I just need a TIG welder and a frame table. I've been coming up with some ideas and might just try to pawn some protos' out someday.

I usually do 100-120 miles on dirt per month and prolly 6-8 beers a week, though sometimes it could be 6-8 beers in a day, depends on my commitment level.

That's a good point...You can't just use mileage when describing the difficulty of a ride, you also have to take into account elevation gain.

A 15 mile ride with 3500' of elevation gain is going to be much harder than a 30 mile ride with only 1200' of elevation gain.
