We have a fair amount right here in the city. We have a lot within an hour though. We even have a mountain bike park in Victor just 15 minutes east of Rochester. We are lucky.

i would say 21+. We have TONS of XC stuff here, but DH stuff is limited to about 5 or six places.

I voted for loco sucks though.

I have 5 within an hour that I ride regularly, I'm sure there are a few more crappy little places. A little over an hour away and I get into the National Forest system which is almost endless.

i voted 21+, because an hour radius of me can get me into southern NH and ME easily too. there's a ton of places to ride in a 60min radius.

all XC though.

I don't know of all the xc stuff around here, so I said 3-5. I can think of at least 4, but if you head toward downtown, I have been told there are a ton of trails in the hills along the Columbia river.

I went for a nice motocross ride this morning at prison camp after camping out last night.

We have a ton in Pittsburgh, from the center of town (with no traffic) you can be at some of the local ski resorts in an hour. within that hours radius probably 20 good parks or places to ride...

2 hours will get you to Rays indoor park, and 2.75 will get you to Snowshoe for some Northshore type stuff East coast style!!!

The list grows exponentially for each hour. i consider 4 hours one way drive a day trip, and with that the possibilities are endless, including trails in Northern Oregon, a large portion of Washington, and Lower B.C.

i really liked the NorCal area, i wish i was mountain biking back in the day when i spent time down there.

The variety of terrain, looks so awesome, and more of a season to ride gravity from the warmer temps. Our goods are snowed in much of the year.

Yeah - my spots aren't nearly that sweet, even with a 3 hour drive. Flight??? Maybe. Drive. No.
