I would have to go home and check but I have over 50 gigs of MP3's, including the entire catalogue for some bands such as the Beatles, Led Zepplin, and some others. So I have quite a bit. I will count and get back to you.

Is it even possible to listen to that much music?

I don't have too many songs by one particular artist. I like to keep my music library rather diverse. However, here's my list:

-Rise Against: 41 songs
-Pulley: 39 songs
-Reggie and the Full Effect: 30 songs
-Catch 22: 29 songs
-Bad Religion: 28 songs

That's ok, I'm only at about 9.2 gigs. I don't have room on my hard drive for any more mp3s. Stupid low-end Dell computer and lack of money to upgrade my low-end Dell computer... :mumble:

I'm not sure on each, my guess is in this order though.

1. Zebrahead

2. Deltron 3030 or Rise Against

3. The Streets

4. Unwritten law

I rarely get around to deleting what I download and never make it to my playlist, so there are a lot of bad songs by artists I like, so thats why I just estimated.

The Streets rules! I've been a huge fan for a while, and have missed 2 (!) concerts he's done in LA. $20 ticket concerts to boot! Grrrr.
Anyway, I have about 7 gigs on my computer here, and my iPod, but I probably have more Dubstar than anyone else right now. A ton of some other stuff, but that's probably the more. All of the Streets tracks, I'm getting more into Jay-Z too, so I've got a bunch of his stuff...

The Streets!

it's quality, not quantity... there's an (near-?)infinite amount of bad music in the world...

:stupid:

I actually periodically clean out my music library in order to keep it at a manageable size. There are always songs I don't listen to, and if they remain dormant for long enough, into the trash they go. It's much easier that way.

conversely there is a ton of good music too. you just gotta seek it out, it usually doesn't come spoon-fed to you.

I have a disproportianate amount of Phish on my HD. I don't like them that much more than anyone else, it was just so easy for me to get a bunch of their music. Soulive probably comes in 2nd. Pink Floyd comes in a strong 3rd.

THose two are just because I have lots of their live shows.

20 or so Miles Davis Songs

true. that's why i read your posts :D even tho you suggest more music than i have the stamina to download (file sharing is tiring!)

i have gotten into some "new" music lately, j-pop, a bit of coltrane, and masada. masada (the one with dave douglas and co.) is great.

Damn can I pay you to burn me some CD's? I can't do the file sharing thing on my work PC and my home connection well it's like 36K or something.
