I know theyre not light, but I might end up riding one this year so I was just curious. I would swap the 888 for a DH40 and probably build some UST wheels.
That would be sweet, I can handle 40-41 for sure. Im kindof a weight weenie at heart but I also weigh 175 and im pretty stocky, so I dont really need to have a super light bike. I would imagine that bike just plows through most things you can throw at it as well.
My buddies race bike last season was a Stab Primo that he spec'd really light with a Ti Romic/Works 888R/EX823's etc/ It weighed like 39 even so this years bike with a floater should be able to get right in there, maybe 1/2# more...
