to buy a new digital camera from an ebay store?

I'm looking to buy a Nikon D50. I see some pretty crazy looking deals on ebay compared to camera dealers. But I'm naturally weary of "apparent" amazing deals. Anyone got some input into this situation?

Very. But do your research. Many of the new digital cameras on ebay are grey market meaning they may not have all of same items in the package as the US model and they WILL NOT have a valid US warranty. There are some that are legit but you've got to be really careful.

Also, if you're not aware, go to pricegrabber.com and search for the D50. You'll find the best prices and there are reseller ratings right beside the price.
