I'm having a hard time getting my Brake lines to behave... check out the picture:

It was wound up in the box for a while... I can't seem to get it to go straight.

Is there an easy way to tame the brake line?

As you were tightening the fittings, the line twisted. Unbolt the caliper or lever an unwind. To keep them straighter, try using a piece of leather or something to rub/heat up the line a little, and this will straighten out the bends/bows.

I've tried the unwind thing... did't make it any better/made it worse.

I'll try the heat method.

That's how they tell you to get bows out of a fly-fishing leader. Happens to work well on brakes as well.
