from a practicality stance, that could be a benefit by keeping dirt etc from accumulating in a bolt head, and is actually kind of cool. although i wonder what kind of torque limit it would have (at least with that interface) and what the lower size limit would practically be (aside from major suspension pivots, most fasteners that go on a bike are pretty small).
