I think my 36 feels "ok" and I have always loved my old shiver more than anything else I have ever had a chance to ride, so .... I put the shiver on my SXT. I expected to end up with some sort of monstrosity that was fun to look at, and mess around with, but stupid to ride. Much to my surprise it doesn't seem to have turned the bike into "The Rake-Monster" that I expected.
The point of this post is that I'm measuring my BB height from floor to the center of the spindle. I stood the bike up against the wall such that it was barely balanced, and about to tip over. This way I figure it is as close to vertical as I'm going to get. So I measure the BB height, and it is somewhere right between 13.7, and 13.9. I didn't even think I went that low stock.
Guess I'll have to leave it on there for a while and see how it works out. Hopefully the front end doesn't rip off.
