anyone adapt a 01' Bullit rear triangle to accept a 8" rotor?
I am going to powedercoat my frame so I was thinking about attempting to alter my rear triangle to accept a 8" rotor. maybe bend or put indentation in the tube so the larger rotor can be used. similar to the dent in the outside of the frame for the cranks to not hit the frame.
anybody succesful at doing this?
any horror stories about someone attempting this?

let me know!!

The swingarm was not designed for an 8" rotor. If you really want/need an 8" rotor on the rear call SC and get a new 02 or newer swingarm. I am sure that SC will tell you the same thing.

I would either get the 02 swingarm, or just run 6"ers. Bending your frame sounds kinda scarry. On the other hand, if you decide that buying an 02 swingarm is ok, maybe you should try bending, and if you break it you wont have lost anything.
