I thought it was alright. but i wasnt impressed at all with Cedric Gracias section, the footage was alright but the music was brudle. I thought it was going to be alot better then it was.uch:
It was a dissapointment for me too. There were some awesome sections but IMO the NWD series is too worn out, it's all the same stuff. They tried to change it, like they had more talking, more interesting music, but it's still lacking. I like Earthed 3 way more than NWD 6.
It was a great movie, and I'm really tired so I'm not going to say alot now. But the abuse of slo-mo in addition to the repeat breaking out of jail theme is really ghey. To understand how difficult the stuff these guys are doing really is, we need to see it at speeds...
I liked it and 90% of the music. I thought the song during cedrics part was cool. I agree about the slow motion. I really noticed on John Cowan's first jump. It looks like its impossible to make it at that speed, and somehow he keeps moving through the air. That was the slow motion part that most stuck out to me.
I'd be more open if it were a new, original video, or if it weren't so overblown. But it's the 6th, it's supposed to be one of the best videos, and the formula is getting old. Same rider segments, same slow-mo, etc. Practically the whole movie is slo-mo, and they always zoom in on the rider and cut out the jump, background etc. I want to see where and what they're riding, not just the rider.
But that's just my opinion. It's still a good video, some quality porn, and some amazing riding.

Good points. I really couldn't stand that either. Especially on A-line. It was BS. You couldn't even see A-line. You only had an up close view of the rider. That was probaly what most annoyed me, then secondly the slow motion.
I would really like to see the collective guys film A-line a Dirt Merchant. That would be cool- lots of zip lines and stuff.
i didnt think it was bad but i wasnt overly impressed. im not a fan of the music at all in it. nwd 4 had a lot of good songs and a few ****ty ones but thats like any movie with music.

My first impression was that the Disorder series is going straight to the ****ter. Carlin's section absolutely rocked as expected, but there was far far too much wanna-be BMX stuff floating around. I thought that idea was cool at first until I saw a real BMX comp, then I was completely over it.
I thought it was good. I liked the footage ,and most of the songs grew on me after a couple of times. At first I wasn't impressed, but then it gets better as you go along.
I thought the music with the segments was cool. I liked the part with (whoever) that went down that scree slope with the helmet mike.
'Youth Gone Wild' with Basagliotta was really well edited.

Ill have to agree entirely, i saw it the first time and hated all the songs and segments but then after the second time through i have to admitt it did grow on me a bit...

Yea that was the best part of the movie. his flow and style is amazing, and the song was the best one out of the movie, but i didnt like how little wade simmons was in the movie. i was hoping that he would ride for a whole song.. :redhot:
I enjoyed it, I have given up being critical of movies as they have their different styles. I don't mind the nwd style, I love the collective style. I don't really enjoy the earthed style (mostly the music) I actually prefered the 2nd cd. I enjoyed the docu feel to it, or the making of feel to it. Oh and as a metal head, sick of hip hop, I was quite happy with the music on nwd6.
Overall for the price, you get a tonne of riding for an ok price. I am sick of spending 40$ cdn for 41minutes of riding and then a bunch of people talking as "extras"...

Overall the music was sum what of a disapointment, however there were a few good tune like Sweatshop Union, Cut Back, that song was chill. Also Carlin Dunns (sp) section was chill.
wayne goss's segment was tight! him jumpin through the tree was awsome! I also like John Cowans, only thing that bothered me was that he usually has the same bag of tricks, so his segments are all similar in the tricks department.
Jeff Lenosky;s segment was TIGHT he had some sick lines. i didn;t like how the ended with paul B his segment was kinda weak besides the 720 !!
That was Berrecloth. It was a clip from the Redbull Recon extra that is included in NWD6 and on the Red Bull Rampage Retrospective set. Such a cool line! If you have not watched Recon, pop in the extras DVD and watch it. It's only about 20 minutes, but some really cool stuff.
