Howdy....in case you didn't know, I'm a newb!

Just wanted to say hi to all. Picked up a new hardtail about a week ago so I don't know anyone here yet but hopefully I'll bump into some of you out on the trails. So far I've done IAB in Carnation and Coal Cart in Black Diamond. I live like 2 minutes from Beaver Lake so I've been hitting that nearly everyday to put miles on the bike and get myself some time in the saddle.

If you've got some favorite trails for XC I'd like to hear about them.

Thanks,
Mike

Welcome to the board man. There are alot of trails to explore in the area that can tide you over til spring summer. St. Edwards and the Tokul trails real close to Tolt McDonald. Also if you're headed south try Tapeworm, South Seatac, and Dash Point has a nice trail system too.

The BBTC and SingleTrackMind club have alot of rides goin on, there are some maps and books you can get to give you an idea of what's out there. Kissing the Trail by John Zilly is a good book to get an idea of stuff.

We'll see ya out on the trail.
