From the far western reaches of Virginia, let me at least introduce myself.
30, going on 22. Ride lots (well as much an Engineer can while maintaining a decent job).

Whistler last year was incrdeible:

Can't hardly wait for this years trip.

Just built up a new frame for this season. A nice custom built Stickel.

Took a nice ride last night on it. It's a hard place to live I tell you.

Unload the car.

Ride some fine fine singletrack.

and think to yourself "somedays it just doesn't get any better than this."

See you around.

I don't think I like you.
Hahaha, welcome to the :monkey:. Hopefully you will help combat the recent rampage of 13-year-old users who don't know how to type or spell.

Grassy ass.

My webpage

Ain't picked a picture for the headtube badge.. And whatever goes in there won't last more than 3 wet rides anyhow. Seems almost pointless.

Besides..

it's..

sometimes..

hard..

to pick a favorite.

Harrisonburg.
Douthat is only a hop skip and a jump from here.
But you pass up a lit of sweet riding to get there.

SO did you Build your own Frame ?
I used to build my own frames. Did it for a summer or two for Outback Bicycles in Rockville, MD.. before they went kaput.
Then came college, and racecars, etc.. :thumb:

I had the distinct good fortune to have a buddy who is a current framebuilder, Steve Stickel. He hooked me up with a pretty good deal on a frame and a build kit. We designed the frame off my old ride, a Kona HOT 853 steel. Nudged and tweaked it a bit to fit the 5" fork and still ride well. Raised the BB (13.50" height), lengthened and raised the headtube, slightly longer chainstays, 69.5 HT angle, 70 seat. Fits like a glove.

His frame was built by a guy named Steve Stickel - kick ass builder who produces amazingly beautiful hardtail frames. He also seems to be a super cool guy too. :thumb:

Yep. His rule is.. gotta fit 2.75" tires on it minimum.

Panaracer 2.4 in the rear.

Buddy of mine has been trying to get him to build a steel DJ bike..

I do miss my old Heckler, but not the Rocky Mt. ETSX I replaced it with..
WTF was I thinking.

If I need a dually I still got 2 to choose from

2000 KTM LC4
2004 KTM LC8

Course you don't have to pedal them.
